"My paintings capture the beauty around me, whether it be a peaceful landscape, flowers picked from my little garden or a portrait of an interesting person. What attracts me personally to a painting is light and the interplay of colours and shapes. So, in my own work, by concentrating on composition I design a focal point and a path for the eye to wander through the painting."
